Help: Easy question Tire Pressure
Whats the Tire Pressure supposed to be for our stock tires? I suck at reading the sides of tires
my front tires are low and i want to check my back ones as well

is that what the manual suggests? I don't have a users manual and i can't find a pdf online or anythin, I'm just lookin for the basic pressure, no racing or drag pressures. if its 35 then thats cool, leavin for the gas station in a few minutes
I thought it was 31 on all four. I read on here once somebody's dealer lowered theirs to 26 but I forget why. Lower pressure gives better grip at launch, but life is shortened. I get good overall performance at 31 and thats with no passengers 80% the time. Always check "cold" and try not to drive too far to fill them up as driving more than a mile will increase the pressure a little.

I use 34 in the front and 33 in the back... that's what gives me the best grip and most even wear. Results may vary. Anyway, I don't use the stock tires...
Depending on the way you drive the car (IE: no fast cornering or hard acceleration), you might be better with 32 in the front and 31 in the back. If you give even a bit of importance to wear, always go with a pound more in the front, even two if you're really agressive with your driving. This will help save the outer part of the thread, thus wearing the thread a bit more like the rears (which do not slide as much, even in thight corners).
A good way to know if you've got the right pressure for your type of tire and your way of driving is to start at 30 pounds and then gradually increase up to 35 if you hear the tires squealing when going around fast corners...
That's just my personnal method though, others may recommend alternate ways to determine your optimum pressure.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who figured out that pressures do not necessarily have to be the same from front to rear...

!How's the wear on the center of the thread??? One would assume it's quite higher than on the sides... especially on the rear tires.
