BTW: The EVO wing as it's being called here comes stock on the UK RalliArt.
And also, that rice thing is getting old... if I want to install a Boeing 747 tail wing on my car, I won't ask anybody if it's related to any kind of meal.

theres a difference a huge difference in the wing MOD on an RA to putting $5000 of MODs into a $1000 Honda Hatch with 130,000 miles on it
its just like "Pimp My Ride" sure it looks great but you're car is still a piece of crap under all that glam

for the record I voted stock spoiler, I find its hard enough to avoid looks from cops with this car stock looking and would rather not get the head turn caused by the wing. I do like the stock look tho, so I guess its a win/win

The term "rice" is overal used and unproperly used.
The "High Wing" is factory stock on the Lancer Evolution 8 GSR and MR. It's not on the RS, so is that rice?
The "High Wing" is a factory option on the o4+ lancer OZ/Ralliart model. Just because mitsubishi won't put it on the car stock, doesn't mean it's rice if you or mitsu decides to add it on after.
Also, on the o6+ Ralliart model, mitsubishi is now adding an "Apperance Package", that includes the vortex generator. It's been said plenty of times that with the VG and the High Wing, on your FWD ralliart you will get some downforce, not as much as the evo8 models, but it's a difference compare to stock.
Also, the DC5 ITR comes with a High Wing aswell stock, and it helps significantly. Is that rice? No... it helps and works for the DC5 ITR favor. Also the same goes for the DC2 ITR and the JDM celica GT-s and the Civic Si. Yes, all these cars are FWD and came with a high wing.
In japan it's not called the evo8 wing, it's called the lancer "High Wing" and its factory on the evolution models and the ralliart. It's even factory on the UK ralliart models aswell. MMNA is the only place that doesn't make the high wing factory stock, you have add it as an option.
