Sorry to hear they threw it up on bricks though. At least you get free bricks out of the deal too

I'm not a big fan of chrome... but whatever you like!

Sorry to hear about that. I didn't know people still did that. Where exactly was your car? In public viewing?

that's why i paid cash for some expensive lug nuts... comes with 1 main and 1 spare key, and you need the key for all the lugs... worth the investment!

Thats what I have been looking at for when I get new rims to. Having them all lock is a great idea, trying to get 20 locking lug nuts off would be tough, I would imagine

Not trying to burst your bubble but every locking lug nut i have ever seen can be broken off by someone who knows what there doing. anytime you have a locking lug nut, there has to be a way to get it off if someone loses that key. Usually all you have to do is find a socket that is just slightly to small to fit on the lug, then hammer it on and simply undo it.

No, i used to work at a tire shop and it was common for use to have to break off locking lugs nuts because people lose there lug keys all the time.

The best thing to do to protect your wheel investment is to have full coverage on your car and let your insurance company know about your upgrade. But first you should find out what it would cost for your insurance company to replace your factory wheels. Alot of times it is more expensive for an insurance company to replace factory wheels and tires. meaning you could get more money back if you do not tell them about your aftermarket wheels, which would allow you to upgrade.

If you dony have full coverage then the best thing you can do is hope and pray that the thieves in your area dont like your wheels.

Yeah, but it's at least a deterrant. Since it makes it a bit harder to do, some thieves will pass and look for an easier target unless they really want those rims.

Most thieves in my experience are not really fond of extra work.

If someone is determined enough tho, they can steal pretty much anything.

sorry about the rims. I hate hearing bout stuff like this happening. Can't we all just leave eachothers stuff alone? I really like those rims. I think they would look really nice. Usually dont like chrome but those arent too flashy. Get another set of those.
