well, in my comparison book, the spec-v was totally out of the question because here in guam, they were asking $25,000. that's US dollar and the dodge dealership was asking the same for the srt-4. both being out of my price range. i got my RA for less than $18,000. so that was the only performance car that i could afford anyway, but of course that was the only car that i wanted in the first place. i just had to get my wife to agree.

There will be no 1.8t. Everything is going to be Direct Injection 2.0t. The Audi A3 has it, weighs 3300 lbs (500 more than the RA) and can get to 60 in 6.1 seconds. A $500 chip from APR gives you 50 more HP and takes you to 60 in about 5.8 seconds. All this with almost no turbo lag. The 2.0t Jetta and golf will be pricey in comparison to an RA.

colbalt ss and s/c is like the evo and ralliart. I drove the ss s/c and it has nice power and the supercharger feels almost like a passing gear in third. Very nice car though not worth the price though only drawback.
