Ra. Stolen.

Well, yeah it happened. My car was stolen. Right from my work parking lot. I bugged out. Unless your car has been stolen you have no idea. Panic attack/Pure Rage. BUT, I left my phone in the car on, it fell under my seat i didnt need it for work so i left it. I called the police, about 10 min later they call me saying they are standing next to me car, Asking if they would like me to have it towed or to come get it. I came and got it. How did they find it? NEXTEL GPS *****S! They searched for my phone and found my car. By law i was told im not suppoused to say who stole it or where it was found. They don't know who stole it, they are doing finger prints and what not..But how did they get in the car? So far what they think happened was. . If you cut certin wires at the same time, which are ran under the car somewhere, the electrical system "pops", sorta like a House breaker, When it popped the serge popped my doors unlocked. How they hell did they drive away? They don't know, My ignition is perfect, no signs of screw drivers or any ghetto *** hood tool. I have both sets of keys with me right now. Im boggled im so happy its back. Well its at the station good enough for now..... Nothing was stolen. Besides my cigarettes and all 211 cds i had. I have all the cases and covers in my trunk. Police said insurence will pay me for my cd's and cigarettes(ha)... I feel violated.

I dont know if its possible to jump start it like a dirtbike, because without the ignition turned no power steering or anything. Some profesional drivers if they can drive with a locked steering wheel.

I Park very far away so no1 parks next to it so they dont bang the doors, it gets dark quick in CT and Not very lighted parking lot. I dont blame them, The lot is shared with a few other companys. No camaras.

I've been there more than once, I know how this feels it's like someone just rips your heart out and steps on it. At least your car is back !

Yes it is possible to push start the RA. I had to when I ran my stereo with my car off and my battery went dead at a party. But I would think you would need your keys turned to on, like someone else said, to have the steering wheel unlock and all that.

Mind boggling. They can't start the car without the keys right. All 04 models have those. They prolly shifted in neutral and dropped the hand-brake. Then prolly towed it or sumthing.

wow thats amazing you got it back. I didnt know they could trace phone unless you dial 911 with it. When i was in my car accident a few years ago i dialed 911 and it went into "emergency mode" and it had a little gps symbol in the top. I dont know. but you are lucky

It's possible to push start our cars. I had mine go with a near-dead battery.
