Tech Questions

The RRM Axel Back. Who's got this exhaust and is it worth the money? Also, if you've dynoed before/after what kind of numbers did you see with it.

I've got an AEM CAI and I like it, decided on it over their CAI. Would recommend it to anyone.

Also, Any ideas to stop wheel hop on launches and wheel spin when shifting from 2nd to third? I've got Fuzion ZRi which is a pretty decent tire, the AEM intake, and a B&M short shifter. I've considered motor mounts, is there anything else I could do to reduce wheel hop and wheel spin?

Btw, Hey everyone. New to this board, had my 04 since august of 04. I love it, got about 24k on it. Got my kills list on the ralliart vs XXXX thread. There's nobody with ralliarts out here. I'm just outside of New Orleans, LA. Hurricane central.

well, my RA is still bone stock, but when i got underneath the car and looked at the exhaust, i think all it needs is a new downpipe. the rest of the exhaust looks flawless. plus i don't won't a loud muffler, i'm going for the stock "sleeper" effect.

about wheel hop, you can either get the rrm motor mounts which i hear do real well, or there is a diy thread on filling you motor mounts with windo weld. just search. not much you can do about the wheel spin from first to second. maybe get better tires? that's mainly from all the torque.

congrats on your kills and good luck with the car!!!! welcome to the boards!!!!

The RRM exhaust is worth it 100%. It does not give you a ton of horse power but it does give you a nice sound. It is not loud as hell unless you tromp the gas, for average around town driving it has a nice low growl. It is also easy to put on. It took me 45 minutes, that includes getting it up on ramps and putting all of my tools away. One thing I would recomend go to the store and get a can of PB's AMAZING RUST BLASTER. The bolts can be tough to get off.
