Front license plate
Quick question... I lived in Alberta, Canada where we were not required to have a front mounted license plate. I have since move to another province that does require one and I am wondering if anyone here has tried using the EVO front mount for there license plates. Does it fit, probably not eh?

I don't know man... but anyway, it seems you made a bad deal. Maybe you should go back to Alberta or move over here... the front of your car will like you for this.
Seriously though, why not mount it over the lower hole like some guys have done... it's much less of a sore eye. I've seen one guy who had cut the plate horizontally so that only the number remained and he could really mount it into the hole (recessed) a bit... but that may be pushing it a bit too far. Too much attention from the cops maybe?

Cut the plate? I think (if I'm not mistaken) it's illegal to cut or bend a license plate. Hrm... well perhaps I try to get my hands on one and see, they can't be that expensive.

I'm still looking for pics of what I saw on here... it might give you some good ideas of ways to lessens the visual impact of installing the front license plate...
Yeah, technically it's illegal to cut or bend it... but in most places they don't care that much for the front one. In the end, you decide what you want to do...
But just mounting it in the right spot will make you much happier for sure... let me get back to you with pics.

i don't know how cops are up there, but i'd just get a plate holder from an evo, it should fit. you don't want to try the bending thing, you don't know where that will land you.
