Factory Intake issue

Help! I’m going to get my car service on Tuesday because of the1st, 2nd and 3rd gear grinding issue. The f***ed up part about this is that my factory Intake was stolen from my dads garage, now I’m seriously not trying to loose the warranty to a single pipe and filter upgrade. So I ask of anyone the knows where I might be able to get my hands on a complete Intake system.

Calm down... they can't void your warranty for an intake. Save yourself the money and take a deep breath...

That’s what I thought too, but I guess I’ll just have to find out. now what about the clutch lines, short shifter and bushings? Could they say that’s the cause of the grinding, or do I need to replace them ASAP.

If the intake doesn't cause the problem I don't think they can void it.

As it has been said over and over again: They cannot void your warranty unless they can tie the aftermarket part you installed to the actual problem on your car. Your intake is not an issue as far as your synchros are concerned... but in your original post, you never mentionned having restrictor-less clutchlines and the short-shifter kit. This is much serious... and I suggest swapping everything back before you roll onto the dealer's lot.

BTW: Alternatively, some companies who sell aftemarket parts will offer a warranty that covers damage resulting from the installation of their parts... check your receipts.
