a couple of newb Questions, please help!

Hey guys, so im just getting into modding my ralliart and i got a few questions. I already have the SRI installed and working great and i just ordered the axelback exhaust from RRM. How hard is this to install? I was plannin on doing it myself to save the hundred or so for some other parts. So basically about how hard is it to install and about how much time will it take?

Also, im looking next into getting the downpipe, the underdrive pulley kit, and the lower tiebar, which one should i get first? Should i just get a header with a downpipe, or is a header not needed?

+1

Installing that exhaust should be easy......just do a "HOW TO" when u install yours, that will help others too.

And yeah, the pulley is the must !!!

thanks guys, i order my stuff from rrm, and makin my own exhaust is way to hard for me, i just dont want to take it to a mechanic and pay a hundred bucks for something simple. Im excited about the exhaust, but im freakin pysched to get the downpipe and the pulley! Too bad i cant really buy the piggy back or the turbo. Does anyone know if i put on the downpipe if it will still pass insepection, and if its legal?

This downpipe is not street legal because it eliminates factory catalytic converter. However, you should be fine if your fart can is not too loud.

The UP is the best bang for the buck hands down (or the best HP for the buck). That you should definately get without question. I don't know what the state inspections are like in Jersey, but if you think that will be an issue maybe you shouldn't get the DP at all. Instead of getting the DP, save up for a bit and get the piggy if you really want to spend your money wisely. Either way first on your list should be the UP, then move on from there.

Honestly, I think you should just get some windshild washer LED's that go on your hood.

Remember, if you get that downpipe + axle back, it's going to be loud as hell. Be prepared to have a resonator welded on to quiet her down.

That is funny!

Welcome to the boards redralli04.....seems like the pulley is popular, I will be getting that one soon as weel as the tie bar. If you do any kind of course racing....tightening the rear end is a must, the RA has monstorous understeer if you have not noticed already!

Just let your Big Bro-In-Law know when you plan on doing the install. I'll be over to help you

Couple people have bought it, couple people have done their own. All the feedback points towards the gains being in the upper RPM range, which is where you'd expect.
