is this for real?

i was about to order a set of skirts for my lancer today and i asked the guy if it comes with all the brackets and stuff needed for the install and he tells me that you glue the skirts on the car. is this true? figure i look into this stuff before i spend out the money and end up destroying my car lol. anyway whats the deal on installing skirts? thank in advance

self mounting screws and double sided 3M outdoor/automotive tape will work for skirts that do not use factory mounting points (most don't use them). HOWEVER, quite a few people use the automotive body glue, but I don't see that as a good option. For 2002-2003 lancers, kaminari skirts are made with factory mounting points......

please don't glue them. use some double sided automotive tape and some mouting screws, thats all you need. make sure if you do it that they are lined up correctly. you don't want it to look like you just through them on.

Glue sounds like it would do some nasty paint damage if you decided to remove the skirts later
