just a lil bit of advice

well, after figuring out what the problem was with my headlights, i can only offer this advice to those who dont already know this:

DONT USE BLUE BULBS!!! i didnt know this so when i went to install the cool blue sylvania's (i think) it burnt out my harnesses and i had to buy those and other bulbs... it set me back about $50 but its something i couldve avoided if i had known this...so yea dont use blue bulbs lol

That's not right. Many people here are using Sylvanias with no problems. I run the Silverstars, which probably pull more power than the cool blues, and I have no problems.

Well i have used those xenon bulbs before and i'm running silverstars now and the dealer said nothing about it when i asked them about running them... I've been running aftermarket bulbs for a long time now.. about 1.75 years..

Thanks for the heads up. Applying this logic in a broader spectrum to me suggests that painting our cars blue could mean spontaneous combustion. be warned fellas.

I can see the ads now: "Use Cool Blue light bulbs! It's like NOS for your headlights!"
See what I did there? NOS uses a blue bottle, blue headlights.... I bet it's a whole blue conspiracy.

!!!!!! THAT'S why our paint chips so easily! It's those people wearing blue blocker sunglasses looking at our cars!! I think this is grounds for a class action suit people!

Oh yeah and I wouldn't suggest listening to Eiffle 65 either just in case.

Thanks for the info though. I was actually thinking of buying some cool blues soon, at least now I know not to. But then again, how could we upgrade to HID if the harness isn't up to a Cool Blue?!?!? Hmmm maybe there IS a lawsuit to be had there against them.
