Trying to buy Ralliart HELP

When we were first looking to get a Lancer around august/september last year there was a second hand 2004, had around 15,000km's on it and was still over $20,000 (aussie dollars) really wanted it until I saw it was tiptronic auto. That and the dealer said they just took delivery of the first 2006 RA (5 speed) and were going to be using it as the showroom display model... but a couple of days of the dealer being sneaky and much stress it was sitting in my driveway :-)
I don't know about everywhere else, but RA's aren't all that common where I am, but that is a reasonable price to find an 03/04 for - just availability that might be the issue.
