Gearing is SOOOO close on this car =) But I like it very much - I can't get enough... Better part is - dealership threw in some ASA A1 Chrome Plated 17" Rims with locking lugnuts at no additional charge so the car looks really nice for "stock".

These pictures are hosted off of my own personal "server" so depending on how many are trying to open them at once it may be a tad slow but they will load.

I did notice my valve stem on my front driver side tire is a tad loose, if I tighten the cap down all the way (full stem cap to cover black stem on chrome wheel) it will hiss and let air out, you can see the tire is a tad low in the pic, gonna have that fixed tomorrow for free =)

If you want to request any other pictures give it a shot - it's Base 06 Ralliart 5-speed.

I was going to get tint but other than that for now probably leave it alone - at least untill the "newness" wears off, I am working my rear off to afford this car so I certainly appreciate it =)

And I drive on irregular country roads regularly so 4.5" ground clearance is as low as I need to go right now.

The ES and OZ and even the EVO's ride at 5.5 this RA rides at 4.5 =)

one of the best and cheapest mods you might want to consider right off the bat is the lower tie bar, strut tower brace or both. I noticed a HUGE difference in the amount of understeer with the strut tower brace. Neither mod breaks the bank either. Kickass on the rims man!

yeah, I just put the tie bar in and it is a huge difference. Welcome to the forums, and whatever you do, search before you ask about anything. if it has been covered 8 million times already you may get an answer or two, and most likely told to search three or four times, before your thread gets locked. we can be very helpful, but you have to show that you really need help and aren't just lazy. Nice rims and I really like the color. I wish I had a choice when I bought my RA, but I like my color too so I lucked out.

Tie bar? The RA has a strut tower brace already - unless you are suggesting I get a better one?

It takes corners quite well - I can't say I've driven a car that handles corners so well before.

the car does handle great, but have yet to unleash more of it's true identity, from what I know the brace and tiebar improve the ride by a noticeable difference

I did notice that it seems as though you can "hear" the wheel bearings when you are coasting to a stop (clutch pedal to floor) or something else is "rubbing" - is this a normal sound or should I look at it? It's not real loud or anything feels like a very very slight vibration in the steering wheel and with the windows down I think I can hear it.

I will add that I didn't really notice it until I inflated the tires to 35psi - is this too high ? That's what the door sticker said but these are on 17" rims instead of 16 and the manual only lists 14, 15, 16 and does not list 17+.

Since it's new and I tend to be paranoid about things breaking I tend to look and listen for any possible sound that could be bad - I could be just amplifying a normal sound with my imagination =)

if you're paranoid let your dealership check it out anyways, let them show you that nothing is wrong.
