I dont want a manual cuz i like to cruise around and i'm in heavy traffic alot. so i was wondering if there is any way that i can still put in some performance parts in an automatic ralliart? I know that the shifting is nice for a manual but it wont do me any good in traffic, my leg is gonna fall off...

there are a lot of parts for the auto, and a lot of the manual parts cross over. start with bpu's, the move up.

very few parts for the manual cars don't fit the auto cars.

The only parts you might have problems with is a CAI, one of the piggy ECU (but an auto version is made).

But you should be fine trying to find parts for an auto

RRM has an awaiting AUTO turbo system that no one has put on yet....
Ripp Modifications has an AUTO SDS (supercharged) system that 1 person has on.

I got an Auto Ralliart (well...is a sportback...it only comes auto)! So far I got the UP, K&N drop filter, Hyperground kit, RRM Progress sway bar & perches and the RRM tie bar, Rota sub-zero wheels with BF gforce sport tires an the Cerius CF hood and some Boricua style tuning. From all those the most that you can feel are the swaybar & perches, tires and above all the UP (kill list so far: some stock Civics, a Focus, 2 Corollas, one Mazda Protege (MT), stock Ralliart and a moded Civic Si).

The next mods I plan are the header kit, piggy ecu, coilovers, some internal parts and then go FI: SC or Turbo!

Mmm damn these parts are real pricey!

I'm planning on buying a ralliart once i become 21 by the end of this year. hope my insurance company wont rape me with a big bill. When is the best time to buy? i heard that the end of summer is the best time since they are trying to clear everything out. my mechanic also said that a wednesday is a good day to buy because that is when the dealer gets new cars and they want to get rid of some.

Ralliart isn't considered a sports car... insurance should be cheap, depending on driving record and age of course...

You can find used Ralliarts for about 10-11k now. Talk that down to about 8.5-9k and you've got a nice car for cheap payment that can be a powerful adversary on the road.

My insurance quote for a Ralliart up'd me 25 bucks a month for full coverage.

it's not a sports car but I think it's considered a sports sedan? Thats what I got when I was insured, and I have to pay $4000 a year, without accidents or anything on my record. THough I am 19.

Anyways, those parts are pricey, most car parts are pricey, Best bang for buck mod I hear is the underdrive pulley, though Im not sure it works as well as it does with Manual
