Quick n00b Downpipe question

hey guys,
i have a full catback greddy exhaust, ok so now i just bought the downpipe from RRM. But my CAT is welded onto the stock Dp. So would i need a test pipe or somthing like that to connect my RRM Dp to the rest of my exhaust?

If your catback bolts to your stock exhaust... then no, the rrm dp also serves as a cat delete or test pipe... should bolt right up

This was somewhat addressed in the thread refrencing RRMs new header. The downpipe was designed for the RAs that have the cat converter welded to the DP so your new DP should fit in place of the old one, as long as your catback exaust mounts to your current DP and you didn't have to modify the stock DP to do it. If you had a newer RA (some 05s and all 06s), your Cat would be bolted in instead of welded in, and the DP wouldn't fit.
