Noob question
Hey guys im new but i have been monitoring the website for a while now. Question is whats the difference between a 04 05 and 06 ralliart mostly the 05 06 i want to know about. THANKS
I'd have to say the resale value for sure... Beyond that I think the grills are about the only difference, maybe the downpipe on some models but I think that's still being debated.

If I'm not mistaken there is a slight difference in pipe size for the headers between the 05/06 and the 04. I don't believe there is a difference in performance due to this though.
The grill on the 06 is totally different than the 04/05 grill.
That's about all that I can think of. There maybe a few very small differences in the interior but overall the only real significant difference is the look of the grill.

WOW thats all....... i guess i will be looking into a 05 more over a 06 then. By the way i drove a honda before 92 honda civic ZC engine swap with the works done to it but the more research i do on the Ralliart the more i fall in love with it especially the TURBO kit from RRM. Im still doing more research on other cars still
ok.......
The entire front bumper is different.
The steering wheel is different.
The 06's have the new airbag technology
The seats are different colored (more black then red)
They added an Apearence package for the 06 wich includes vortex generator, sunroof deflector and muffler tip.
Asside fromt that, everything else is the same

The 2004 and 2005 are almost identical. The only diff. I am aware of is the downpipe is different, and the 2005 is a bolt on connection with the CAT where the 2004 is welded.
As far as appearance, I believe they are identical.
The 2006 model is different appearance-wise (see Ralli04Art's post), but I believe the exact same performance wise as previous.
Product life cycle with Mitsu is typically 5 years....so I won't expect many changes besides appearance before the 2009 model.

Everyone pretty much covered all of the differences.
To answer your other question, I like the look of the 05 better than the 06. I didn't like it that much at first, but now it's grown on me.

1. Different material on the seats, same seats (not as much red, though there is still a little bit. The new 06 material doesn't pick up dalmation hair so damn bad as the 04/05).
2. Different place for the hazard switch (I said VERY minor

3. A new airbag deactivation thing; The passenger bag won't deploy if there is no one in the seat or a light person in the seat. To save wasting a $1000+ airbag module if it's not needed AND to save against killing a 40 pound kid. There is a little light where the hazard switch used to be telling you if the passenger bag is deactivated.
4. Brushed metal pedals are standard on all manual trans 2006 RAs.
That is all the interior changes I can think of. The grill and air dam are the only exterior changes. The hood is the same.
Some hate that bar thing on the 2006 bumper. The fix is to get a black 06, I don't even notice the bar thing anymore and actually don't mind it. The grill is 10 times better. It has a honeycomb look instead of the Pontiac nose thing.
