so you spend about 18-21k for your ra , but put crappy 100$ honda sounding parts on your car....... why is it that the ra owners allways do the ricest things too there cars .. embarrassing

Sounds pretty good, especially for 15$ on ebay. The only thing you should be concerned about now is how long it will last, but that doesn't matter either. Just buy another 15$ one in three years

And don't worry about being called "rice." you can still run over all the rice you want to, no matter what it sounds like. I handed a lightly modded wrx (NOT STI) it's *** the other day too, so not only can you eat rice but you can eat better food too. Enjoy the RA.

 

well do what you want with your car , if you want to dump hundreds of dollars into a mod that dose absolutly nothing performance wise for your car be my geust.

some of you guys are so gulible , if someone told you to take a bite out of large stinky terd and it would turn into gold you would probably do it . no offence but its true .

every time someone wants to try out somthing new to save some money or see what works best someone want to start bashin and all of a sudden every thing turns to rice.

rice, was a term used by mussle car guys to degrade the 4 cyl. import guys that spanked their asses every time . basicly it was a word made up by haters, and the last time checked my ra was a 4 cyl. import, so next time look at yourself befor you start talkin about rice .

i thought that when joined these forums i was going to meet a bunch cool dudes with a ride like mine that could teach me few things about my car that i didnt know.
but instead i bumed into a bunch of arogent children that drives the same car as me but for some reason thers is better.

I feel ya brother even if I like muscle cars AND pocket rockets. I'm off to look at a 69 El Camino SS clone (me likey the 396 ALOT). Gotta have something with good economy and then something that well.... never will. Doesn't hurt that my oldest brother still has some leftovers from his chevelles. Have you even seen those original intake manifolds?!?!?! You could fit a soda can in the secondaries!

Anyways, just treat them like any hater, hand them their *** with a smile but keep your pimp hand hard too!

 

You are right on the "performance wise" part, true the exhaust isnt the most HP giving mod, but people put money into a good aftermarket exhaust because it will most likely last longer. I dont know what you would choose between these two options. Here they are:

1. Buy a cheap muffler, risk rusting, fitment. Down the road, you might have to replace it because it's suddenly turned into junk.

OR

2. Buy a good named muffler, knowing that its SS, mandrel bent, you wont have the worries of it rusting or any other problems.

I'd take #2, and leave it that way, spend my time doing or getting other things to the car.
