You know you have an RA when no matter how much you mod it , it still feels slow. Dont know why it just does.

 

5,000? I paid 20k out the door on a brand new 04 in dec. of 04...March of 05 I still owed 19 and some change. And a dealership said they could give me 10k max for a trade-in.. .talk about mad!!! it dropped by 10k or basically in half in 4 months.

You know you own an RA when everybody on the road thinks your trying to race especially the big Dodge truck guys - this happens to me almost every day on the way to work... I go to pass a slower moving vehicle and they instantly want to race

Anybody I pass thinks I am trying to race - it doesn't matter what they are driving.

I passed some a-hole who was going 45 in a 55 so he passed me and then would not let me get back in front. I passed him on a 2-lane and it went to 3-lane. I would change lanes and he'd swerve into the lane I changed into so I finally just shifted down to 2nd and went wide and fast and got past him and slammed my brakes on... He promptly turned off.

when your car idles like **** on a cold start

 

when everyone thinks your slow b/c you drive a lancer, then thinks you modded the **** outta your car to beat them. not knocking the 2.0, everyone just thinks i have one.

 

when you get funny looks on the freeway from a turbo GTI and mini cooperS because you walked away from them after 100mph

when your 5th gear pulls like 2nd

 

you know you have a ralliart when someone asks "why didnt you just buy an evo"

When your dad wont let u get a manual because mom cant drive it

When dad wont let you get an evo because it will drive insurance off the walls.

 

When you buy a manual SO your mom can't drive it.

and...

When you're about 3-5 days away from ordering a turbo kit so you can further embarass a lot of overpriced cars.

 

1) dudes in tiburons or tC's roll up on your *** then back off because they aren't sure what you are..looks like an evo..is it?..jesus better back off a smidge...
2) you pick up import tuner mags looking for any RA's and never find any showcased..
3) you say to yourself...yeah, my stock rims look pretty cool..i'll just keep them
4) you wash the bugs off the hood and ground effects every day..and spray rims just incase.

 

#2 has always bothered me.......

2) When your talking to your friends about mods and they say, what is RRM?
3) when you can Laugh at how much evo guys waste on insurance.
