This is in regards to negative comments on the Lancer and Lancer Ralliart forums:

To make this a better environment I would like to ask on behalf of everyone on EvoM that you refrain from telling us how crappy our cars are compared to yours. Please stop posting things such as "why didn't you buy an evo" and "my evo can beat your RA" because my C6 Z06 Vette can beat your evo and why didn't you buy one of those? See how annoying that is? Obviously we would all own supercars if they were free.

We are here on this website to have constructive conversations about our vechicles without the ever-so-nagging evo owner popping in every couple of threads ******* our cars.

For those of you who come to our branches of the site and provide helpful information, positive feedback, or even CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, thank you.

For those of you who don't have any idea what I am talking about just pick a few random threads and see how many times an evo owner posts something negative just to belittle someone else.

I don't post in the Evo forums, not because I am not allowed there but because there is no reason for me to post there. I don't know anything about your car, except it has wheels. I expect the same from every other person on this site. Visit any forum and post when you can help, start a thread when you need help, but keep your *****-size comments to the off topic forums.

Mods, since I have been a member of this website this has been an issue. Is there any way we can have this posted as an announcement, or at least stickied in our forums. I am obviously willing to clean it up some but for tonight I just want to rant.

Get over it. I've never made a comment like that BUT, in the car scene that's just what you have to deal with. So what if someone made a negative post about your car? Ignore it and move on. Because in the end, the car is YOURS and not the person's who made the comment. I get crap from a lot of V8 owners, but I'm not gonna cry about it and make a thread. I just laugh and move on. No matter what you own, there are gonna be people who hate it and people who love it. There are gonna be people who say bad things, and people who say good things. Welcome to Life.

 

There's really no point to this. It's an open forum where people can express their opinions. People who are unneccessarily mean can be dealt with on an individual basis.
