Two months ago, I tried piggybacking a Fcon SZ into the system....everything works except injector control which means the Fcon SZ cannot adjust A/F ratio.I found out that the stock ECU over-rides the altered signal from the Fcon SZ. This means the stock ECU auto-tunes itself and compansates for every slight change in parameter.....
The HKS tuner mentioned that the OHMs (or is it impedence) needed for GDi injectors was higher than what the Fcon SZ can send. The other way is to disable the GDi function and get a full standalone that connects to the injectors directly which probably leaves the problem of fuel regulation. With the GDi system, there is no fuel regulator...its just a massive fuel pump......Dont know if I need to change the pump or get a bigger surge tank...
Doesn't matter...I only gotten the car for 9 months.....I have the time to research somemore......

With direct gas inyection, since the gas is inyected as a liquid, as it evaporates in the combustion chamber, it sucks up a lot of (detonation producing) heat, thus making it safer to increase the compression ratio, even with cheap gas.
