Installing Headlight light bulbs & which ones to buy!!! help =)

Hey guys, ivee searched on the other posts and havent really found the answer im lookin for. Currently i have the stock ralliart 06 headlights that are just ok. I was looking to make them look better cheaper by adding h3 super white light blubs or something along those lines. Could someone give me some ideas on the types of light bulbs that look nice and are decent quality. And im just a little unsure of the difference when peeople have h3 light bulbs and 9006 kinda thing.

One more question is how hard is it to install and how do you install. Thanks.

I'm happy with the look and light output of my SilverStars, but some people report that they tend to burn out quickly.

EDIT: Install is pretty easy. It's in the owner's manual.

I've got silverstars as well. You notice a diference from stock. No HID's, but definately bright. Got them from Advance Auto Parts. I imagine you can get them from any place that sells bulbs. I'm on my third month w/ driving with them on all the time 250-300 miles a week. They haven't burnt out yet.

Cdn Tire sells them, so any auto parts place would have em.

My friend's dad put them in his volvo V40, says their great, but they only last about a year for him, so I'd wonder if it's worth it for the +$50/set per year. So if you don't mind dishing out $50 every year, go for it.

hmm ok... =) one more question... are they whiter than the stock headlights, like do they give off more of a white color than stock, or are they just stronger & the same color. (much appreciated, and pics are great to!)
