rattle near the dash

hi i was just wonder if u guys ever hear rattling near the dash or near the wind shield. and if so what would that noise be. just wondering if its something to worry about. thx for ur time

the front and rear window is known to rattle a little bit when it is very cold out. Perhaps you may have dropped some skittles in your defroster

rattle near the dash

i've got the same thing. pulled the glove box and checked the piggie and it's not rattling, really strange. i'll keep looking.

have that same problem ever since i bought my car...wouldnt worry about it just turn the streo on all the time and pretend like there is no rattling sound.

Ohhhh, nelly. Get ready for the "do a search, a@@hole" posters. Seriously though, try searching. I posted the Technical Service Bulletin from Mitsubishi concerning this topic. The rattle is coming from outside the car. The clips that hold on the windshield moulding on the A pillars are rattling. Mitsu will cover those clips with felt material. Problem solved. Should be a warranty fix as long as your 5/60 is still valid. Joe.

I too have the same rattling issue in the front left side of the dash area. It is really annoying. So the problem is in the A-pillars? Thanks for the info. Now I know what to tell Mitsu. I previously told them but at the time it wasnt rattling.
