Suby for now. Getting a bike in a month. other than that, maybe a newer car in the spring. I kind of like the 05 jetta gli. No major plans though.

Yes, you simply can not beat the AWD. Nothing is more fun than 1am axis spins in empty parking lots in the middle of winter. Well, hitting the trails is pretty fun too, but that gets to be damaging.

i would buy a suby, but there a couple grand more than a ralliart (for the wrx) and warranty is only 5 years compared to the 10 year.

I think the new subies are ugly as hell. However, no doubting the wrx is a faster car. I have a coworker with a 2.5 ts thats pretty damned slow though. To each their own I guess.

as far as being upside down... i know what you mean... When i bought my Ra 2 decembers ago... I paid 21 out the door... 6 months later I got it appraised at a dealer... they said they could give me 10 for it... I have been kicking myself in the A$$ ever since..

im in the same position, i want a wrx or an srt-4 and i owe 20k on the car and have been told at 3 places they will give me 15k for trade in. which is awesome but still 5k upside down
