Question About Paint Help Please

I had a little fender bender and had to get my rear bumper painted, but when I picked my car up today I noticed that the paint on the bumper is darker then the rest of the car. So I asked the technician about it, and he told me that it would take about a week for the fresh paint to dry and it would soon fade into the same color as the rest of the car. Is this true?

probably not.. you should demand them to repaint it. Your insurance has a policy of how close paint has to match. But since it is at a stealership it should be right on

My car is diamond white and the rear bumper is darker than the rest of the car in P.R. also the gray is darker (the rear bumper ). Everybody told me that its because of the plastic that always will be darker than on the metal sheet of the car. I went to the dealer and they said the warranty will cover but you know that factory paint resist chipping more than the one on the shops. Well finally the car got a minor hit on the back and have to paint the bumper ,and man the guy who paint the bumper did it great. Now the bumper mathes the rest of the car!!
