Smile Hey All

Just wanted to officially say whats up to the rest of the forum member. I have bee naround for a while but have never felt the need to post. I love my RA, but wanted some peoples opinion so thats why I felt the need to post. I am looking into buying an EVO, and my local dealership has just dropped the perfect one in my lap for less than MSRP, becasue the had it entered into a car show for the unveiling of Tokyo Drift. This is a really good deal, because all of there EVO's are usually marked up an extra $2,000 dollars. Only downside is GEICO is taking forever to send a check to fix some damage that happened to my car a few months back and keep giving me the run around, and the dealership wants my car right now, with the damage but only willing to give me $7,000. IT is about $1,800 worth of damage ot the right rear quarter and taillight, but they said it didnt matter because they could fix it in their shop for practically nothing, and even getting my car fixed wouldnt bring up the trade in but $500. I just checked NADA and trade in for good condition is somewhere around $10,500. It is a 2004, Metallic Silver, Sun, Sound and Side Airbags, with 52,000. Interior looks brand new, its just that I have to drive a long way to work 4 days a week, so the mileage piles up quick. If i could get some feedback it would be greately appreciated. I dont think I could get it sold on here for much more than 8 with the damage and 11 without, and plus I can't post int the for sale forum yet. But if anyone is interested in a high mileage RA, with a little bit of damage for really cheap give me a PM. Thanks to all who took time to read this.

IF you really believe that the trade in value of your car would only go up $500 if it were fixed, and the check you are getting from your insurance company is going to be greater then $500 then go ahead and trade. Have them make the check out to you and put it in your pocket.

Somehow though, I doubt that's all there is to this siutation.
