Quick question

I am up in a cabin in BC with no phone. I just bought a 06 RA before my trip and it has 2300 kms on it. I am about to drive to vancouver , another 600kms or whatever, then back to Saskatewan, another +1500kms. I was wondering, how many kms until you have to get your first oil change? I have searched the forums and i cant find this.

3,000 miles is normal for us which is roughly 5,000klm. You can get away with 6,000klm without any problems though.

well if you opened that thick little book in the glove box it would tell you that oil changes/servicing should be done every 6000kms.

I sure did, cover to cover. I found it to be a really good manual a lot of good info. I found it way more useful than my Acura RSX manual only my Acura manual came in a leather case woooo.....
