Car Egged and Stole 2 Valve Caps

Hi Guys,

I really need your help.

Topic says it all. Tried removing the egg but I think it has settled into the paint. Not worried about the valve caps. Tried using the polish or wax or whatever my dad used to lift off the stain but yeah.. don't think it worked. I mean, it made an improvement.

I've been looking up and it says that Warm water and Vingear should do the job on many sites. I have a black car and was wondering if anyone had experience with this, how did they remove it, anything? etc.. I think I didn't notice it until 1/2 - 1 day later as I didn't need to drive.

I seriously am going to thump the kid who did this, if I see him, I'll make sure he gets one dozen eggs thrown at him.

Thanks for your help.

Yeah, but no point because I have to pay an excess of like $600. The stain isn't that bad (but any stain is a stain right?) but just wanted to know if there is something that can be done for me. Any tips...

Any experiences?

Cheers

Thump the kid? Teach us some more Australian. Love it.

Did you simply try some bug remover? That should work. Careful trying to buff it out of a black car. That sometimes can leave cloudiness in the area.

i got my car egged a while ago. Where the egg shell layed it left some white flakes in the black paint in a cirlce. The dealership said they will probably cover it as a paint defect because they said it didnt look like it was egged. YAY!!

CF-Ninja, omg, your exact description is the EXACT same description of my egged car. It left very tiny specs of white flakes in the black paint in a circle and it's annoying lol.

I think i'll just chalk it over with some wax or try lift it off with some polish.

like for real... it doesnt come up.. it ruined the paint. I've tried everything and my dealership tried to get it out. If you really want it gone you have to repaint it.

Yeah that's the thing I'm using. Turtle Wax - Black Wax. I used it once on my rear bumper when my friend hit me (very minor) and it does the job reasonably. At first glance it's not noticeable. It's only one of those scratches where if you know/point it out you will always know it's there.

Mine is on the drivers side door panel. Do I have to get the whole door resprayed? Or just that minor part.. Was it actually the egg shell embedded into the paint or a scratch?

I've had my valve caps pinched as well (Australia is a land settled by criminals you know :P)
As for the egging... probably a Holden or Honda driver.
