Exclamation Need cheap, yet great peformance brakes...

I know, I know... kinda hard to get, but if possible can somebody help me? Your probably wondering why I just don't pay for some grade A peformance brakes, but im trying to not spend any more or as much money on the ralliart because in about a month, she will be replace with a evo. I also need rotors aswell, but I think I can make do with some new brakes and just baby her for the time being. Any help would be great,

Thanks, Arithmetic.

Check Otter's list of brake pads: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=197215

good luck. Cheap and good performance are a rare combo.

Axxis ultimates can be had on eBay for $50. Metal masters (step down) should be findable for less.

The benefits of the axxis pads far outweigh the downside of all the dust, though. I'm just going to paint my wheels black so I can't see the dust so easily.

Can Wilwood's Big Brake kit be used on the ralliart? Obviously if you get them to drill the rotors in the correct bolt pattern?

I asked them this a while back they seem to think so, so why do no Ralliart owners seem to have them?

Such a stupid question. Would you spend this money on a brake kit to risk it not working and having trashed rotors.

The Axis pads, RRM rotors, and brake lines and better fluid should be enough for anyone on here. I have yet to see any avid road racers or AutoX guys with Ralliarts. So what is the need for such a setup?

I am becoming an avid autox guy with a Ralliart.....and haven't upgraded anything on the brakes (yet). But you are right, I have only seen 2 others autox in person(Otter and someone local to me).

Anyway, Joe is right. Pads, rotors, brakelines and fluid should be enough for anyone on here.

There are quite a few Ralliart autox'ers around. In my area, my friends have reported at least 2-3 RA's weekly @ our local Auto X tracks. You just never know.

sorry for off topic
