Polyurethane can be fixed, there is even a polyurethane weld for it... Its fairly inexpensive and easy to apply as well..
yes but isnt poly more durrable? if im not mistaken and correct me if im wrong but, ive been under the impression that polyurethane flexes where as fiberglass cracks or shatters...
Of course there are varied degrees of strength that can be attained by poly based on how it has been developed..
The following is to be considered pertaining to poly strength this is the Tensile Modulus, Tenstile strength, Elongation%, Strength Flexural, Modulus Flexual, Tear strength, Skrinage, Izod Impact, And of course Density and Hardness to consider based on ASTM measurements..
Fiberglass typically is more rigid and stiff, its great for racing applications due to its lightweight relative to strength. However its impact resistance is typically not as good.
