Question Custom Catback Magnaflow Exhaust Help

Hi, I'm a new member and need some advice.

I just recently got a catback with magnaflow muffler from a local custom muffler shop, it sounds nice but it has a ricey sound to it (high pitch) when i rev hard.
The muffler shop guy told me that it was because the resonator was removed for the catback and I should find a high performance resonator for the new system.
It sounds okay when its warm but performs well but please comment/adice me on the sound part plz............

Put a resonator in it... It will help mellow out the tone... On my cheaper projects I usually use a "turbo" style muffler as a resonator... It looks alot like a glasspack but has two chambers instead of one...

Yea, thats what the muffler guy who did my system said too. He seems like a professional. It is just the ricey and raspy sound when i floor the gas that i dont like about. Other than that, it seems to perform really well, the car flies after 4k rpm but only sound nice under 3k rpm with deep tone (sometimes it rumbles --I wish it rumbles all the time ). It seems to be the same muffler that RRM uses for their CBE system. The best part is that I got it for only $230.00 installed
Any other suggestions on how to make my car sound not ricey, plz tell me.. thx.

Here are my current mods:
Custom CBE with Magnoflow Muffler(similar to RRMs on their CBE) and polished tip
Injen Intake system with K&N filter (I heard K&N is better than the most brands)
Progress Tech Springs (1.8" lowered front and 1.5" on rear)
Full underbody neon glow with 6 different colors and different speeds
Hankook K106 performance tires
PIAA Headlight Bulbs

Get the largest Magnaflow resonator that will fit. I think it's like 24" or so.

Can anyone help me find a resonator that will fit.. I found some but I'm not sure if it we'll fit. Sorry kinda newbie lol. Also if I get the RRM downpipe with the the resonator after the cat would it sound nice also i heard the downpipe would help a lot with CBE systems.

It will be really cheap to have a resonator welded in, give that a shot first. Then if you want to order a downpipe go for it...

BTW... On that K&N air filter, don't go crazy on oiling it, our MAF sensors don't care for it too much... I prefer a dry filter on my SRI over an oiled K&N...
