You cannot find the vrx or the glx models in the USA .They are models not intended for the usa market. Vrx's are found on Australia and glx on Panama . I understand that vrx's have a bigger engine than glx (I think 2.4 vs 1.8lt).I could be wrong on this so wait for more posts .

ALL 06 Models in Australia have the 2.4L Mivec ... whether it be the ES, LS, or VRX. My wagon is a July 06 Build PLated ES Wagon. Prior to 2006, the 2005 CH Lancers were 2.0L. There was a short period in late 05 where the base models were sold as a 2.0 and a 2.4L -- the bigger motor was an option which a few people didnt take --- it was just Mitsubishi Australias way of getting rid of excess stock.
I also ask, why on earth do u want a Right Hand Drive lancer in USA? It'd be utterly POINTLESS when you can buy LHD one that was sold locally?

Yes all the '06 models are 2.4miv, but he was asking about VR-Xs... but its obvious why he wants a right hand drive for the USA they are safer to get out of if you park on a busy street! Get out on the sidewalk instead of into traffic (that was George Carlins theory anyway) guessing its really for the 'JDM' kinda thing... though for memory the current Japanese Ralliart is a 1.8L turbo AWD with a hot interior.
