I'm not so shure about that. I had an EGT in my last car "Impreza" and it saved me more than once. My car was N/A and i had some MAF sensor problems and the car was leaning. By my experience i would recomend an EGT to everybody regardles of mods. It's a lifesaver.

After that i would go with oil preasure and voltage.

Darn close, anyway. 2.0472" versus 2.0625"
I meant that it is the same gauge size. They are measuring the gauge from two different OD's, the actual gauge OD and the trim OD. Either way you call it 2.0625" and the 2" are the same size and are designed to fit in the same pod. Standard size for gauges.

AC Autechnic makes a pretty decent gauge thats smoked when turned off. Here's a link so you know what they looked like. i used them before with good results, and they are not too expensive. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AC-Au...spagenameZWD1V

there is a big difference in pricing when you go either mechanical or electronic the cheaper being the mechanical type they read accurate enough for N/A (I actually have Mechanical in my car )

Auto meter are by far probably the better quality of the mid priced gauges why not get one gauge at a time...

air/fuel ratios is a good one to get and a vaccumm gauge as well

No way would I put a mechanical oil pressure gauge in my car. On the off chance that the oil line broke, I'd have hot engine oil streaming directly into my car. I'd pay the extra to just have a wire and sensor.

Mechanical boost or vacuum gauge, no problem. That's just air.

I agree I would not have a oil pressure gauge in the car at all for that reason you said maybe a oil temp? .... but not an oil pressure - sorry if I gave the impression that I had a oil pressure in my car I only have a air /fuel, vaccumm/boost and an oil temp (being fitted tommorrow)

you should go with OIL PRESS. and volt, or air/fuel

but air/fuel just dance all around and it really sucks, if it isn't using a wideband sensor
