oil

if i use 5w20 in my car will it do any damage, i been using 5w30

5w20 is what you're supposed to use. The 5w30 listed in the manual is a misprint.

My understanding is that usually most oils are fine so long as you dont mix weights, so remain consistent there and you should be alright. Granted, there are exceptions to the rule I'm just speaking generally here. You'll always want to select an appropriate oil for your enviornmental conditions.

SNAP!! 5w-30 is a misprint!! why didnt i know that!! frig, well at least its still 5w thats the important one for me, being in canada and all!!

Does anyone use oil additive in their Ralliart such as lucas? I used it in my truck and it was fantastic.

I use mobil and lucas in my car since the first oil change and love it. When a car is new you wil not see a good reason to use it but in the long run, you will see the difference. I used lucas in my last car and did wonders for the engine.
