Not sure what all is under the hood.

I had a lifted 91 Nissan Pickup. It was a good truck, but did not have power windows/locks. It also did not have power steering for that matter. After driving my ra around for a while I got in my truck to get some work done on it. Where my ralliart has "get-up and go" my truck had "hold on let me think about it for a minute, hmm ok i think i will go now". It has been quite a transition.

That's why your ralliart feels like an F1 car in the turns, you came from a lifted truck.

That is probably it. Although I have driven my friends cars and none of theirs seem to handle as nicely. It could be that I learned the limits of the car quite quickly. I took a pretty sharp turn at about 50 one night when I decided to go buck wild with it. I think that was about the speed, though I wasn't really examining the guage during the turn. Overall very pleased.

Does anyone else agree?

Thanks

PS. Go easy on me I'm kinda new
I'd say I completely disagree. I won't go into the argument of used cars being more worth it than new, since obviously anything used becomes less expensive. However, looking at brand new prices in similar market segments I don't think the RA can hold a candle to the SRT-4 in the bang for the buck category. Neither has exceptional handling or build quality and interior ammenities worth bragging about so I think it comes down to performance and the 80hp difference and immediate gains from basic mods really shines away from the RA. I think the RA is a in the mix competitor with the Scion cars, as well as Honda's where the main focus is more a decently styled car with mild fun to drive factor at generally affordable prices and still good fuel economy.

I don't think he was calling the RA best bang for the buck. He was talking about mods for the his RA and which were the best bang for the buck.

No you don't, that increases the likelyhood that your car was beat on before you had it. You can find a used intake for pretty cheap.

Most likely ppl taht buy performance mods DO beat up their cars, but also mantain them real nice. Ive done nothing more than beat the living crap out the car, I just mantain it real good and some good products, never had problems with it. This is my second mitsu car and I can say, their engnes are pretty much bulletproof when you pull good maintenace and run them between their standards.

So umm.... Does anyone agree that the UD Pulley and Piggyback ECU in combination are the best "bang for the buck," when compaired to the other mods that I can do to the RA? I guess there was some confusion on my actual question....

I just did a quick search on carmax.com and it yeilded only 3 SRT-4 and they are selling for 17-18k and have between 6-16k miles, are 04-05. I bought my RA with 20k miles for 14k. I figure that I could probably find a SRT-4 with the same specs for about 16k (with some patients). That works out to the RA being about $87.5/ single horse power and the SRT-4 being $74.4/ single horse power. So I lunchblocks is right about the RA not being the most bang for the buck in terms of the whole car. When I went looking for a car I didn't particularly want to pay 14k, so 16 would have been way out of my price range.
Plus the SRT-4 looks kinda gay on the outside and bland on the inside. The SRT-4 does have metal foot pedals.....

I think you are on my buddy list now after that comment!

Best bang for the buck mod to the Ralliart: RRM Pulley, Sway bar and perches. TIRES!
I don't have the piggy, but I probably would love that and have put it on the list.

Ok, so since apparently noone agrees that the piggy and ud pulley give the most performance for the money invested, what mods would mods woud you guys say that do give the most performance for price? I was looking to spend around 800 with a couple of dyno visits to make sure everything is functioning proporly.
