man i bought my RA 2 years ago. in 1 year the trade in and private sale was at like 75% what i bought it for.. aint worth it for me in my eyes. I'll drive mines till its dead.

Good luck with your 5-year-plan... you're better off selling now and putting the down payment now or something cause in 5 years your car aint' gonna be worth much at all...

 

I think a good 5yr. plan would be to pay off the loan. Once you find out its not worth anything make it a daily driver and but you're evo XII in the garage for a sunny saturday and the strip. b/c thats all the RA will be worth.

heres some wisdom for the OP. you WONT need to wait 5 years. maybe, 2 or 3. when i bought my ES Lancer in 02 mitsu had that 0,0,0 deal going on. so i didnt have any payments for my first year. i started paying in 03 & i drive a Z in 06. do the math.

just work your *** off and make double payments here and there.
