Just make sure that your Month and Year on your plate are at the top. I had a faux CF plate cover and when I got pulled over, I was cited a warning because the plate cover covered half of the Month and Year. When I got home that very day, I took the cover off! LOL

Just drill out two holes where the license plate screws to the trunk and 3M the perimeter. Line up carefully because once that tape hits the paint, it's going on that way!

I'm almost sure the OEM trunk lid can be remove... they re screws and clips...

in the pictures it doesn t look like an overlay... seems like a replacement part... damn rain !!!!
