ralliart coming back

yeah, i got in an accident at the end of july.. pretty bad, it's about 7500 worth of repair, but my parents thought that it was worth it cause i only had about 33000 miles on it, and this car would "last me".. so they dished out the money to fix it (i am not spoiled, i work for my money). so i'm getting my car back in about 2 weeks (hopefully) i'm looking for any parts for sale at a reasonable price, so PM me or just post on here, i check almost daily..

No insurance? Why would your parents have to dish out money?

it was a hit and run, i got slammed into the center divider cause this miata wouldn't to race.. so no one got any info on the other person, and i wasn't technically on the insurance, i was only "borrowing" the car from my parents.. so yeah it sucks but no one was hurt, i got a scratch on my arm from the airbag.

mass of ralliart > miata. Exactly how did he slam you into the divider.. or were you racing and lost control?

If the car is insured it doesnt matter who is driving.

Check out these two pages for Ralliart parts.

That's an odd story, having studied insurance. I can't see how a hit and run would make you pay for it. Even if you drove into the median yourself insurance would still cover it??? Ebay's great for parts here and there!!!!

also in response to the insurance thing, my name isn't on the insurance, and if they were to pay me back, then it wouldn't be much.. and they would probably be a little suspicious on why my parents had a modded ralliart, cause they do somewhat investigate..

why would it be suspicious that a parent had a modified R.A?? Is there a cut off in age that says when you reach XX years old you can not modify a car?

anyway glad to hear that you are not hurt - that is after all the most important thing

I agree with you age has nothing at all to do with it. Something is not right here. Either the op left out info or he is not telling us the whole story. Insurance does cover hit and run. What do you mean "if insurance pays you it won't be much" They have to pay the amount of damage minus your deductiable
