Best wishes to your recovery, it will only be a matter of time before you start walking on your own.

Keep your head up.

wish i knew how to put all these quotes in here lol

yes the car had side airbags, i think thats what saved my ribs.

yes they caught the guy that hit me, he had 5 people in his car and his engine was pretty much in his lap so there was no way for him to leave the accident. so its alright i guess.

yes i will be pressing charges as soon as possible.

oh and the hospital bill for 18 days in the hospital, that includes i think 4 days in ICU some x rays some cat scans and the room and medication is $142,000.

that was before i was transfered to St John's hospital in santa monica where i had me surgery, which was another nearly $100,000 and this room im in is about 5,000 per day plus the medications that im taking plus physical therapy.

today was a big day however, i actually walked about 10 feet. first time i have walked since the accident.

thank you everyone for the support

I think he's saying his memory of the car hitting him is blacked out..... the accident wasn't his fault man.

Best of luck to you bud! Get better soon!

glad to hear your alive and mostly well. this kind of thing makes me feel alot safer in my RA, because lets face it, its not the toughest car on the road. The Subie B pillars are so thick the jaws cant cut them

maybe a bit soon, but what car you planning on next? look to the future, and dont dwell on the past, right?

Absolutely happy to hear you are safe.

Take each day - step by step, eventually you'll be back on your feet. Remember to keep focused on your physical therapy and know you can come back.

All the best.

Get well, win a big settlement, buy a IX or an X. This could be a blessing in disguise.

well guys, looks like im headed home this week, then ill have to work and work at getting on the walker and movin around. i can only put 30-50lbs on my left leg cuz all that is holding my pelvis together is some screws and if i put more weight than they i could break the screws.

on a better note, im not really sure what the plans are for a new car. it will not be an EVO because i have had such bad luck with lancers. i might jump to a subaru legacy GT or a VW jetta GLI because it has the best crash ratings that i have seen. its that or ill be getting a Nissan Titan or a Toyota Tundra. something that is big and has a lot of cajones.

ive been takin it slow and they said in order for me to go home i gotta get from bed to a wheelchair and back by myself. ive got the getting out of bed part just fine i gotta work on gettin into the wheelchair and then i get to leave.

thank you everyone for the support, ill keep you posted

I can't believe it took me this long to come accross this post! The whole situation sounds horrible but at least you and all your passengers came out of it alive. So glad you're improving so soon! Like MITVRX said earlier, just take it day by day. Our thoughts are with you!
