^ the 05 models look more like the focus than the 04 or 05

 

This pretty much sums up my opinions.

Cept I also like the looks of the Lancer. I loove the front end. Overall body shape reminds me of an Acura TL, but the defining features make it unique enough. Bad thing is it lost its traditional advantage of lower weight than its competition, which is a big part of the current generation for me.

the Nissan looks just terrrrible. That first yellow pic makes me think Echo, Saturn, and Prius. Ewwww. And the shifter? what the heck.

Civic looks pretty good too.

 

Just got back from the auto show. The Mitsu reps there verified that the Ralliart will match all the specs we've heard thus far (AWD 4B11T 240 hp). Mitsu has been keeping quiet about it because they don't want to take away from the hype being created by the Evo, which brings in the largest profit per car for Mitsu.

 

My next car was going to be a Legacy GT....
But the info on the new RA is just sounding better and better.

 

Looks wise I like the mazda, but the lancer is a close second. However, if they come out with the ralliart version and you can tell its not a base lancer, it will be a no-brainer (if its priced reasonable). I had my heart set on the next evo, but the reality of life (bills, marriage, school, ect.), the ralliart may be just the ticket...
by the way, I hate the look of the new sentra, but wish I had the engine (I own a 2004 spec-v), but I wonder what the differences are? I have I/E/H and probly putting out around 185-190hp.

 

The new sentra se-r doesn't look good in person. It's a very tall car, and very boxy and truck-ish.

 

Tome the 04 looks the best looking so far, better than the older models.

 

That is soo true.

I saw it at the LA Auto Show. I was pretty pump about it since im a nissan fan and man was it such a let down. Nissan needs to go back to the drawing board as the car looks outdated already.
Look for it at the New York Auto show.

 

You sure about that...? I though Mitsu took a hit on these cars and they were only built to apply the tech to other cars and qualify them for Rally and, of course, bring people in to the showrooms.

 

theres one thing about the legacy gt...its a pure sleeper...

the ralliart once it does come out as a 4b11t awd car will be a rice magnet :cough: cop magnet :cough:

08 Lancer - FTW...Mazda 3 then Civic...Nissan Sentra, well people complained about the old ones being too bubbly, like a barel, well Nissan made 07 Sentra look like a box, reminds me of a dumpster, therefore 07Sentra - FTL (IMO).

 

I think the lancer has the better looks for me, anyone has news of the 08 RA??

 

i really like the look of the new lancer. finally *in my oppinion* it doesn't come across immediately as an econobox.

 

Yup, I've searchd all over the net for the new ralliart models but there is no info. out there for the new ralliart. There is some info on the new Evolution X but many said it might be different. If it does comes with AWD and over 200 hp, and keep the price about the same, it would be a great car to have.. If anyone find any info about it plz let us know.
