Front license plate mounting

Has anyone mounted their front license plate off centered? Yes, I know its mounted off-center on the evo as not to block the FMIC, but it just looks cool. If anyone has done this on an RA, I'd like to see pics and hear about how you mounted it to the bumper. Is there anyway to mount a bracket without drilling holes into the bumper?

Thanks.

i bought an evo plate had to rework the back bracket it was pretty easy, i made it work. this is on a body kit but the same thing should apply to the stock ralliart bumper.i thought mitsubishi made a plate that fits to the side of the bumper? the one i have you have to drill a 12mm or 1/2" hole in the plastic part of the bumper

Hmmm... I don't have any good pics of mine. I used a Beatrush Evo mounting bracket. I had to mod it a little, but I think it came out pretty good. That bottom bracket doesn't fit like that on our bumper, so I had to flip that part over and drill a whole underneath the bumper... too hard to explain, I'll try and take a pic.

Here's the only pic I could find that I took after I put it on.

I'd like to mount it to the side, but I'm stuck with those ugly holes in the center of the bumper.

Also, I hate to drill holes into a perfectly good bumper. I'd like to come up with a not so permanent way of mounting it to the side.

If I think of something I'll post it up. Thanks for the replies.

Yes. Just don't mount the front license plate.

A buddy of mine has his front plate's suction-cupped to his windshield...

too bad our front end wasnt bigger so we could mount it inside of the bumper rather than on the bumper.

It's possible. Just wait till it goes to the car wash and all the tape falls off.
