carbon fiber trunk question...

I know it's for the most part a direct replacment, but I'm going to get one w/o the spoiler...what do I do about the wires that go to my current ralliart spoiler light?

I would coil them up and zip tie them somewhere behind the trunk lining. They'll be out of the way, but still there if you ever need them again.

Do I just unplug them from the brake like or do I have to cut them? Also if anyone has any links to a shop/site that they would recommened for a CF trunk that would be awesome.

Should be a plug somewhere around the base of the spoiler.

A site to buy it from? I think there's only one out there, the one made by Cerious.

the plug is kinda hidden in there its to the right and sits inside the trunk. Let it open up all the way then stand in the middle and look the the right and up and you can see the plug. You want to reach to the furthest part and push down on the peice and you can feel it move, then you pull away. I will get a pic up asap

i have a cf trunk with no spoiler.. on the cf trunk you braces stick out alittle, and i zip tied it to one and its fine... BY THE WAY... if you put a CF trunk on.. you need to take out the mechinism that puts pressure behind the trunk aka pushes it open...the cf trunk weights next to nothing and it flys up SUPER FAST, i clapped my self in the face with it.

the biggest problem for the cf trunk is. the spring that pop the trunk up is wayyyyy too strong for the cf one. that thing pop the trunk like a bulet. i have to take the springs out.

i took the spoiler off of my car and the hardest thing for me was trying to get the screws out without dropping them inside the trunk. the plug for the brake light is right there when you look up in the trunk. other than the screws and bolts its easy and very straight forward, hope that helps

Its the white plug near the top and yes the trunk latch its just hanging there my friend broke the holder some how

Close up

you want to reach over it and push the tab which you should be able to feel and push it towards the spoiler and not towards you
