May be getting Rid of My RalliArt

Well, I get into a Fight at work, and lost some rank, the low car payment of the RalliArt is now too high for me, so I may be getting rid of it, and buying my 91 CRX Si back from a friend of mine. I am not too happy about having to get rid of the and going back to the Honda, but finances are a b***h. I have an 04 Thunder Gray Auto with 21,000 miles. What about 12500 sound about right? Thanx guys.

That sounds about right in a private transaction. trade-in won't get you that much.

I doubt you could get 12.5 private sale. 10k is about all for dealer or private. They loose their value exponentially.

Well according to KBB Private Party is 13,300 for Excellent 12, 575 for good condition. And NADA Private Party is 12,700. So I hope 12,500 isn't asking too much lol, cause thats about what I owe. Oh well, I prolly just start selling plasma or something so I can aford to keep her, love this car too much to lose her now.

well worst case you could just sell it for what you owe, but if you have all those mods on it a lot of people dont like that. if you dont want to get rid of it then do what you can to keep it. ive learned to love my car and ill be keeping mine for a long time. good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Come on, man, the AF pays for your food, housing, etc... You can afford the RA even if you're an E-2. Quit blowing your money on other stuff and keep the car. You've got it about half paid off, no sense bailing out on it now.

Well, actually I got busted down to E-1, after taxes that leaves me with about 950 dollars a month. Food is provided, only if you are hungry when the chow hall is open. $950-$350 car payment=$600-$75cell phone=$525-$200 Insurance=$325. Thats 325 for gas, food, going out, any maintenance issues I have. I was an e-3 when I bought the car, knocked out an e-6 and got 2 stripes taken away. So yes, I could afford to keep the car, but not afford to do anything else. Selling Plasma, working at Home Depot or something on the side is the only way I would feel comfortable keeping the car. Oh and I too am from wisconsin, so going home on leave, driving or flying costs me about $400 bux round trip just in travel. I didn't really mean to share my financial standing with everyone on the internet, but I don't appreciate people telling me I can afford something because I am in the military, the only time I make money is when I deploy...currently in the AOR btw. I will try my damnedest to keep the car, but we will only have to see.

well if you have to sell it id say ask 13k, cause i just bought mine like 2 months ago, 04 MT Black RA and i got it from a dealer with 21,500 miles for like 13k, and trust me the person with the car before me didnt take care of it for s***.... (3 coats of wax and countless hours of buffing and its getting its nice shine back)
