Problem in my HID light

hi everyone , i just bought a new hid plus h4 high & low beam in my lancer glx , the prob is that sometimes when i turn on my hid only one bulb works the left one or the right one , so i went to the guy that i bought from he changed all the wires and connections with new ones and still the problem occurs , any help

you might need a relay to your battery...thats all i can think of i you've changed all your wiring

I have that same problem. I thought maybe it was the bulb manufacturer and it wasn't a good fit for Lancers.

Mine do that too. I don't think it's anything to worry about. It's just a voltage situation between the headlight switch and the balasts.
Mine do something else though...after the first 2-3 minutes of operation (it seems like after the bulbs reach full operating temperature), each of my headlights individually have a short blink. After the blink, they operate for hours without doing it again. Turn them off and back on again, 2-3 mintues later, they blink once, each, again.

If you don't turn off the DRL you will eventually lose the ballast.

What affect does the DRL have on the lights working periodically? I not get!

drls run on a lower voltage than what HIDs are required to run. so if you don't disable it, you'll get flickering and eventually blow a ballast.
