Could the CEL have any effect on the car's hp and/or performance?

Cuz the otter day (Tuesday) I went to the dyno and get my piggy tune (no CEL cuz had it deleted with OBD II SCANNER) and then I did a test run (right after dyno) and nothing every thing was good the car was pulling awesome, then two days later the cel turned on and the car felt like if it was holding back and wasn't performing has good has dyno day.

My OBD II codes where "system to lean" and the "O2 sensor" which is "no cat" which I took off. I don't get y it was to lean cuz I got it tune with wide band and the mixture was close to perfect I don’t get what was the problem, could it be that the O2 sensor is not working right and is sending wrong signals codes to the ecu and is making it go to save mode???

Otter day is the best day.

First off I'd double check around your intake for leaks. Once that's set, it might not be a bad idea to richen your map up just a touch to see if it prevents the light. Go from there.

Agree with Otter, just double check everything. Also speak with your tuner to see what may also be the problem.

The car was throwing a "System too lean" code i erased the code before going to the dyno. The car was tuned like that and the final map was running with a 11.4-13.0 AFR. The next day the cel came back on with both the Cat and the sys too lean code. since then the car doesn't fell the same. He called the tuner and should be going by the dyno soon.

I think you mean DIY, unless your intake has a drinking problem.

when the check engin light is on it's normal ..your car has holding back and wasn't performing because the ecu is a mode ¨Safe¨. The puissant is affecte car my friend have the same car that me and she is very far in front of from me ...

I had a similar problem but it wasn't at dyno...I just turn on my car and went to see someone in the way I tried to go over 5k rpm but the car wouldn't let me...it was like I need gas I once had this problem with my nos application which didn't had enough gas pressure so I keep going slow 2.5 o 3 rpm just cruising I arrive and shut the car and check for leaks on injectors, fuel rail, regulator, intake, everything that could have a leak and make the car do this...ok I find a tiny leak on injector 4 but it was there a week ago without doing this...then after 3 or 4 hours I turn the car again and it's like nothing never happened it went to 7krpm like it always does...
