I'm selling this. It will take a majority of the rocks that normally hit your hood.

hood deflectors are ok, but it wont matter when you get chips on your headlights, windshield, side mirrors, lip, bumper, top of your hood.
just live with it, fact of life, just touch it up properly and it will look good.

I have a paint chip on my drivers side mirror and lots on the hood. i even have a scratch along my drivers side fender and some major scuffs on the passenger side of the front lip.

i called up a local dealer,
7.15 for a pen,
and he says that it might help with big jobs, but not perfect... so if it comes to that, you might be looking at a new paint job on that bumper of ours...
bummer.

For a daily driver - 3 years or about 55K miles and it's time to re-paint.
I bought a brand new black car (not an Evo) back in '04 and as of right now, the entire front end is speckled white were stones have chipped it all up and could seriously use a paint job.
That and scratches on the sides where people have leaned or brushed against the car in parking lots wearing steel-studded or spiked belts (you know the kind) or something of that sort.
I purposefully don't wash it now just so I won't have to look at all the scratches and pits. Sucks.

yeah, use some hard wax,
that helps alot.
but the knicks in the hood are inevitable...
so the touch up pen so far rules supreme.
