New to the boards.

Not sure if this is the write place to write this but i couldn't find anywhere else to introduce myself. Well i own a 2004 Auto Lander Ralliart and i love this car, although i havent done anything to it because of the warranty and and thats is automatic. I think its cool that People love their RAs so much that they are modding them so after 3 years of lurking on the forums looking at people set up and what they have done i have finally decided to make a name and say hi.

Welcome to the forum.Silver Auto RAs FTW!!! you can do basic mods without screwing up the warranty. intake, exhaust, things like that. Thats where i started and you can have alot of fun with it without going crazy or throwing your warranty out the window. i had a long list of mods and had warranty work done without a problem

you are missing out on what this little 2.4 can do for you, its fun out of the box no question but throw a good intake on it and exhaust and (giggles) just start happening! there is very little to worry about in terms of warranty with these parts, unless they take your engine apart and find grit on seals or something, they might say the intake did it, but very unlikely that would ever happen, i have a 2006 already put aem sri (i reccomend because no oil and the filter is as good a factory) and magnaflow cat back, and its a very nice breather. Welcome to the pages.

for suspension id start with a tiebar. its $89 and you'll feel the difference, but thats just my .02 if you want that lowered look its def. get the struts with the springs. also i have the 100K warranty also. the way stuff like that works is that if you change your intake and your tranny starts having problems it wont matter but if you put in a new clutch and flywheel and your tranny starts having problems they'll have to look at it to see if your work caused the problem.

really i dont mind not having a low ride, i actually think our rides are pretty low already compared to some monster sedans out there. So you think tierods would be nice huh? i was only thinking about new struts and springs because my OEM ones sound like scissors clossing whenever i go over a dip or bump in the road and it concerns me a bit but i feel like it hasnt affected the fell to the ride. So i could just be paranoid.

take it to . i had a blown strut and they replaced the set for free under warranty. worth a shot. but yes try the RRM tiebar. its a fifth of the cost and alot easier to install. plus springs and shocks will give you a whiplash ride from what im told.
