warrenty issues

i just had a question see what ppl have to say, i just bought a lancer ralliart and was thinking about adding some mods, but i am worried about voiding my warrenty can someone clear tell me what i can or can not do, it seems like the dealer doesnt even know

I will give you the same answer i always got when i started "SEARCH" LOL :-) having said that it really depends on your dealer, some are worse then others. Rule of thumb is that if something goes wrong with the car as a "direct" result of the part then you may have a fight on your hands. Having said that there are many nice and safe mods for our cars. Intake, either SRI or CAI, cat-back or axle back exhaust, UD pulley, even header and down pipe, but i am opting out of that part, may throw codes may not, some like the sound others hate it, gues it depends what you like. But most of the others are pretty safe and the dealer should not have an issue, better yet put them on yourself, figure out your car a little. First good mod if you like though is the pulley and an intake, you would be happy with that. Welcome to the club! :-)

From: at the 5-10 no limit tables
simple as this , when u mod you risk damaging motor thus stuff breaking, mitsu fixing it with a mod is not likly

You mod = You Fault!

If the mod is an intake and your clutch starts squeaking, it's not your fault.
