I'm about to buy an injen CAI. Does it matter the finish? polished or black? I've come to the conclusion that polished will NOT add 20WHP but will it hold up better against the mean Canadian weather?

My main concern is, on our lancers, is there only one position we can have the intake? (hidden behind a fender; I think)

 

Get whatever suites you I have the blakc one and it has been fine. The intake goes behind the left foglight and up beside the battery.

 

the black one dont get as hot as the polished one

Does injen make a CAI for automatic? i had one for my 02 lancer but i havent seen one for my 06 yet.

 

i have the sri version in black heat wrapped and no complaints here.

 

Yes Injen makes a CAI for auto cause theres one on my car right now.

 

could you post pics of your black cai, i cant find one anywhere, only the polished one, im also in the market for the injen.
