adding HP
adding HP
well i got a stock 2004 Ralliart, i havent done anything to it, and i cant tell if the guy who sold it to the dealer last time did anything, cause frankly im new to this. it is a automatic transmission, with something like 14700 miles on it.
Im looking for a way to increase my HP to around 230-260 and get a lil bounce off the line, cause heres the deal, right now i serve as an army recruiter... and to get the kids attention you need something better then stock and something way better then my Govt. issue stratus. I had a truck previously, but cause of gas issues i had to get rid of it (also starting a family... please save me)
so like i said, im looking at a way i can mod it out to get around 230-260 HP and bounce off the line, and try to keep my gas mileage about the same. and hopefuly not go broke trying to mod it. If yall have ANY ideas or ways to help me with this, it would be truly helpful and i would be extremely greatful.
Thanks everyone... ill try to get a picture under the hood of my car and post it to see if yall notice anything different in there that might not be stock.
Thanks in Advance

Your best option would be to turbocharge it. There's really no other way to get that kind of power without hitting the bottle. Nice thing about a turbo is you can retain stock gas mileage if you manage to stay off the boost.
www.roadracemotorsports.com makes a turbo kit for auto Ralliarts. Give them a call. Will run you a bit over $4,000. Go with that for power, some lowering springs and wheels for looks and you should be set.

That's in no way practical or cheaper than turbo unless you're able to do nearly all your own work.
Like Otter said.....power like that would have to come from a turbo kit or some other form of F/I. Give Rock a call at RRM (562-906-0080)....he will talk to you about all of your options. Look through their website too for much of what is available for the Ralliart.
If you don't go turbo, you will potentially spend just as much trying to get to 200hp (without Nitrous).
