Hi all, I'm kinda new here so bare with me. I have an 06 GG ralliart and I noticed that some ppl here had there lower mount grill (if they're called like that) painted. Might didn't come like and I would like to paint them.

04-05 had them painted but not 06.

I was wondering if there's an easy wait to take those out so it would be easier to paint cus I don't feel like taking my hole bumper off.

I'm confused at what you mean by lower mount grille. Clarify or circle it in a picture?

 

 

hmm those fenders actually look good

 

if i'm correct, on the 04 bumper that insert comes in from the back but we don't have a grille there. you might have to pull it out from the back, or dissassemble it from the back so it can come out the front. Try jacking the car up, taking some of the plastic underliner off from the underbody and take a look up from the bottom and see if you can see anything.

 

the ground effects on that look diferent... are they just stock on the 06 or are they am

 

Those are stock. I just found it weird that some of the 06 ralliart would come painted and some not...

i know what you're talking about, here's a photo of my car and another member's white RA:




he's talking about the "pilars" on each side of the car, holding that crash bar thing. mine are black, the white one's are painted the body color.

you basically have an earlier 06 model, they started painting them later into 06 and on.

 

so since mine are red i have a newer 06 ?
